Monday Made it!

Wow. What a weekend! Spent from Thursday to Sunday at the Lake, and I'm happy to say I have somewhat of a tan! Yay!

Here is a quick picture of my baby in his patriotic gear! This is the pallet I painted last week!
The 4th of July inspired my made it for this week!
Now on to my Made its with Fourth Grade Frolics! Love this linky!

Check out this adorable bowtie I made for his July 4th Outfit! I really got back into crocheting the last few weeks I was pregnant because I needed something to do! :) They are super easy to crochet!

So I decided to make a few more for him to wear during the holidays! I've made 2 Halloween themed and one Christmas so far! (One of them is not done yet!) I love them!
Last, I whipped up a holiday hat for Ryder for Christmas. I made lots of hats for his newborn photo shoot, but now he has grown out of them! There is a great pattern to make this from RepeatCrafterMe. Check it out there are tons of cute, free patterns!
That's it for this week! Can't wait to find some more project on your Monday Made it!

Here is my picture for today. This is my sweet baby!
He has been trying to suck his thumb for going on 2 weeks!
He has finally gotten it into his mouth! Yay!
I am going to be so sad when I have to leave him to go back to work in August!

So excited to head to the lake for the 4th! What fun things are you doing for the 4th?

4th of July Monday Made it!

This is my favorite Monday Made it yet! Make sure you link up!
http://4thgradefrolics.blogspot.com/
This is my favorite project so far! I have seen tons of pallet projects on Pinterest! My friend and I finally decided to make one! This is just in time for July 4th and SO EASY!

All you need is a pallet (which you can find for free), red, white, and blue paint, and a star stencil! We used small rollers for the red and white, and then painted on the blue! It took maybe 30 minutes!

Here is our before and after pics! I love how our different pallets made a different look!

I love how this looks with my flowers in front! Happy 4th!

My mom HAD to have one for the lake, so here it is!
I have been working on this project for what seems like forever! I wanted some cute flashcards for the Fry Hundred Word lists. So I created some! And they come with the cards for the game BANG, which my kids love! I like having all the sets because then I can differentiate words for each student! I made a bundle or there are individual sets! Check them out at my store!

Last, is a cheap easy picture frame! I purchased some $1 frames from the Dollar Tree. LOVE! And then painted it to match my photo! I just love the orange! Isn't my little dinosaur cute!?
That's all for now! So excited to see other Made its!

Monday Made it June 23rd

I am back for the next Monday Made It. This really helps me get some things done during the summer while still relaxing!

I have to tell you about my find! I usually make a point to watch Shark Tank occasionally. And they made a deal for a new product called GrooveBook. It is awesome! For 2.99 a month it will send you 100 photo prints from your phone! I NEEDED this. I have been taking so many picture of my son that I would never keep up with printing them! Here's a picture of the app, check it out! I will post again when I get my pictures in the mail!

I was looking through some of my Back to School items and decided to whip up a Freebie for an activity I use during the first week of school. I love how it goes with my Road Trip Theme! Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of my students' work last year when we did this activity, but I think you'll get the idea! Click the picture to grab a copy!

That's all I have for today! Hopefully next week I'll have some pallet projects to show! I'm obsessed!

Have a great day!

Monday Made It

Wow. I cannot believe how long I have been away from my Blog! I guess that's what having a baby will do to you!

Meet Baby Ryder! My first MMI is a Father's Day Present for my Husband! So fun! All I did was paint these letters and take the pictures. I love the funny faces!

My 2nd MMI is something that I have had sitting around for awhile and I finally finished! I started my Road Trip Theme last year and absolutely love it. I will be continuing it this year when I move to 3rd grade. I am going to use these for bulletin boards and for my students' names. These are now available in my store.

MMI 3 came from an idea I got from my son's nursery decoration. We used a big vinyl tree decal to put on his wall. I thought this would be a great idea for a classroom. These would be great to use for a Class Tree, or a Thankful Tree bulletin board or clipart! Check out my store to see more.

Monday Made it October

Yay! I love MMI and 4th Grade Frolics for hosting! Today's Monday Made it's are student projects!

First, is our conference project. This is the 2nd time I have used it and I love it! I got this idea last year on pinterest. Check it out here. Such a great idea and my kids love to be creative!
Here's what's included:
-Favorite Book & Info about it
-Math goals, strengths, and challenges
-Reading goals, strengths, and challenges
- 5 things I like about 5th grade
- Bucket list of 3 personal goals
-Scores from our testing

Didn't they turn out so CUTE?!

Creepy Contraction Houses: I love doing these in October. The teachers I student-taught with showed me this fun project! Simply get a Haunted House coloring sheet. Have student cut windows and doors so that they open partially. On the outside they put their contraction and on the inside they put the 2 words that make up the contraction. Love how festive these look!

That's it for today! Hopefully, later this week I will post my students' Explorer projects which turned out great!

1 day left until conferences! Can't wait to see more Monday Made its!

Can't Believe it's already October!

So I have been majorly slacking on blogging! The beginning of this school year has been crazy and busy and I'm finally making time for my blog.

Even though I am a few days late I am going to add my October Currently from Farley's blog.

Listening: My dogs are going crazy outside this morning barking at anyone and anything. I think it's the highlight of their day!

Loving: I am so excited the 80s have finally left us. I want to get our my comfy boots, sweatpants, and scarves! (And yes, I probably have over 30 scarves, so I need to start wearing them!)

Thinking: I should really be cleaning my house instead of watching this NCIS marathon on TV. Hmm.. wonder if that'll happen?

Wanting: I want to go shopping for new fall clothes since the weather has changed! Old Navy anyone?

Needing: Can't wait for my 3-day weekend that is coming up after conferences this week. Much needed for everyone.

Treat: I am obsessed with Reese's candy. We can't keep it in the house for more than a day before it disappears!

Well that's it for today. Hopefully, I'll be back real soon! I need to get back in the habit!

Happy Weekend!
