Classroom Tour- Picture Overload!
Welcome to my classroom! I was so excited to get a room with windows this year! I have kept with my Road Trip Theme this year!
Here is our board right outside our room!
I made this board to keep track of where my students are. When they are leaving the room for any reason they must move their magnet (with their number on it) to show where they are. Because no doubt I will forget where someone has gone! :)
Here is my calendar and lunch count! WHERE IS MY NUMBER 3??! I cannot find it anywhere! Lunch count: students move their numbered stick in the fry box of their choice!
Here is my learning target section and soon to be math calendar board. These magnetic strips are AWESOME! Way better then duct tape.
This is my movable word wall I created last year!
The carpet area with my awesome rocker! The map blanket was given to me by a parent. So neat!
Library area. I didn't show you my books because they are still a MESS!
My desk! Love my spray painted file holders.. so much better than gray!
Job board, turn in boxes, and mail.
Star student board.
Materials and my palm tree! I have gotten so many compliments on this and its so easy to make! Its just a pvc pipe in a cement container, with an umbrella on top, and then I cut out green paper!
Guided table, materials, and reading focus board.
Boggle (love!) and materials.
There is it.. wow that was a lot of pictures! All I still need to do is get my license plates with my kids' names on the door! Those are my favorites!
Ready for my first full week of school starting tomorrow with my thirds!

MMI: The kids are coming!
I can't believe I have my new class coming on Thursday! EEK. I am trying to get my classroom organized and ready.. but it's slow going. It is so hard when you move to a new room and have to pack EVERYTHING you own! (How did I get so much stuff!?) Hopefully, I will be able to post a classroom tour soon. But I don't want to show you all my mess! Ha! Anyway, only have 1 made it this week because I have just been laminating and cutting all the fun stuff I bought at the TPT sale!
The first is for my house! I painted the inside of this piece of wood, garage sale find $2, with chalkboard paint. I'm not going to lie. I did this like 2 months ago. FINALLY.. I found some stickers that I like and finished up my DIY Menu Board for my kitchen! Love it! We have been really successful with planning out our weekly menu on Sundays. Then we don't have to have the whole, "What do you want to eat?" conversation, that leads to NOWHERE! We already know what we are having and have all the supplies! Hope I can keep this up during school!
Oh yes! And I posted about GROOVEBOOK a few months ago. Check it out here. I have since received 2 books full of pictures. I love it! Super cheap and I always have some up to date prints for frames or whatever! Here is the cute designs of my 2 books!

Five for Friday
I went back to work on Thursday. Boy was it hard to get back into "thinking" mode. Still don't know if I'm there yet! Kids come Thursday.. EKK!
(Every one of these cards are so HILARIOUS!)
I dropped the baby off at his first day of daycare! That will be hard to get used to!
Here is a picture of him doing tummy time! He hates when we do it at home. But I was so excited to see him doing so well!
I had TOO much fun at the TPT sale! So I have been cutting and laminating, laminating and cutting! Ahh.. so much fun new stuff. Last, made this product to use for my shared writing notebooks for centers! All I am going to do is print them out and glue them to the front of my spiral notebooks! Love that is goes with my theme!
That's it for today!

Back to Work
Today was the first day back to work for me. Did anyone else head back to work this week? I wasn't excited for this day to come because I was NOT ready to take my son to daycare for the whole day. But I probably never would have been! I was lucky enough to have almost 4 months off with him since April, which was so nice!
So the morning started off rough.. for me! Here is a picture of him in his new clothes ready for the day!

You can't tell but I'm behind the camera bawling!
It is hard to get back into the swing of things like thinking, sitting for long periods of time, listening to speakers! Ha! First day back and we are already talking behavior! EEK! BRAIN HURTS!
Hopefully, after a few more days I will have my classroom reveal up ! Until then!

Monday Made It: Last one before I'm back to Work
Pop over and link up!
I saw this idea from Tales of Frogs and Cupcakes a couple weeks ago!
I had all these little wood pieces laying around because they were on sale at one time, and who can pass that up!?
So excited when I saw these pointers created! I am going to use these for lots of things! I think they will make great reading pointers for our Daily 5!
This idea came from 3rd Grade is My Life. She had some ugly trays just like me! Thanks for the idea!
I have been using these for my M-F organization of papers/supplies. I got some Teal and Yellow spray paint and went to town!
These are going to look SO much better in my room! Now, I just need some labels for the front!
The pallet couch is finally finished! Woohoo! Awesome project! If you want to read how I made this check it out here.
I'm really going to try and get my kiddos more involved with technology this year. All the teachers got an ipad last year so we can learn to start using it in our classrooms. Well, obviously, I am letting my kids use mine for centers and things. So I am obsessed with QR codes! I found such an easy free maker online! Check out these 2 sets of task cards I am going to use in my classroom! So excited!
Don't forget about the BIG SALE at TPT! 28% off! My shop is having a sale! Woohoo! I'm off to shop!
